the parking options were good and convenient.
The room was too cold. the air conditioning blew cold air even when set to heat! also, my room keys stopped working repeatedly. I had about 8 replacements .

i found the room very clean. the bed was comfortable and i slept well (which is always a plus for me). the shower was large, i had no issues with it.
the air conditioning was a bit too cold for my liking.

the hotel had ample parking available at no extra cost, a feature i always appreciate. the gym included three treadmills and two stationary bikes, suitable for a quick workout. there was also a restaurant on site.

the hotel is situated a short distance from the university campus. the surroundings were peaceful, i found this to be quite relaxing. access to nearby attractions was easy by car.

the room was clean and spacious.
The bed was broken in the room we were initially assigned. dinner was underwhelming. My £16 meal seemed microwaved, and the 'moving mountains burger' was hard as a rock. the hotel feels tired and poorly maintained.

a mixed experience
slow servicemissing dessert
the dinner service was really slow. it took over an hour and a half for just one course because they seemed understaffed. i even asked if i could get my dessert sent to the room later. the server agreed, but it never arrived. so i paid for a full dinner but only got half of it, it wasn't a good value.

the grounds were lovely. the reception staff were VERY helpful and friendly. it was a perfect location for my stay.
the air con WOULDN'T work in my room. it was june and the room was stuffy overnight. they supplied two small fans, but those did not make any difference.

The breakfast choice included granola! I also had two poached eggs cooked to order. These eggs were hot and perfect. The coffee machine was working, thankfully.
The TV was very small and old fashioned. The bathroom was tight, but it had a stand alone shower cubicle. The food quality was disappointing overall.
